Reintegration

The reintegration program enables people in vulnerable situations to increase their skills while helping their community. These individuals require follow-up, accompaniment and training. Depending on their pace, participants in this program can develop their skills and qualifications within the different workplaces.

Youth Measures, Compensatory Work, Community Service and Correctional Service of Canada

The Community Relay of Laval is a host organization for citizens involved in compensatory work programs, community projects, youth alternative measures or the Correctional Service of Canada. We offer citizens the opportunity to do different work within the organization. A minimum of 20 hours/week is required.

 

Departments (depending on availability)

  • Food sorting
  • Crossroads of Bargains
  • Kitchen
  • Maintenance

General manual work:

  • Help with the concierge
  • Transportation of furniture, sorting of clothes, layout of the Crossroads
  • Indoor and outdoor maintenance
  • Help with cooking and diving

Must be referred by an agent: from the volunteer Centre, Youth alternative measures, the Department of Public Safety or the correctional Service of Canada.

PASS-Action

It is a social assistance and support program for Emploi-Québec which aims to integrate socially and professionally excluded persons from the labour market for several years or with severe employment constraints, by a Collective and individual support, adapted to the needs. Six posts are permanently available and are remunerated on the basis of an allowance of 0 which has no impact on the participant’s basic social assistance or social solidarity benefits. The reimbursement of travel expenses or the bus pass is offered under certain conditions (to do with an agent).

A minimum of 20 hours/week is required.

To qualify for this program, this clientele must be referred by an Emploi Québec agent.

Internships

The internship in the workplace allows you to develop the skills that will help you find a job and move towards socio-professional integration.
